About the show

Insatiable is an American dark comedy-drama web television series created by Lauren Gussis, starring Debby Ryan. It is based on the 2014 New York Times article "The Pageant King of Alabama" by Jeff Chu. The series first season premiered on Netflix on August 10, 2018 and the second season premiered on Netflix on October 11, 2019.

Nonnie Thompson is a 17-year-old teenager, the daughter of a policeman and an orphan to a mother. Her best friend is Patty Bladell since she was 3 years old and always, even in the worst moments of Patty when fat shaming was present in her life. Thompson is also in love with her.
