Insatiable is an American black comedy-drama web television series created by Lauren Gussis, starring Debby Ryan.[1] It is based on the 2014 New York Times article "The Pageant King of Alabama" by Jeff Chu.[2] The series premiered on Netflix on August 10, 2018 and was picked up for a second season, and premiered on October 11, 2019.
Plot[]
After years of being ridiculed for her weight, 17-year-old high school senior Patty Bladell experiences a rare injury that forces her to go on a liquid diet for the summer and soon meets paths with Bob Armstrong, a disgraced beauty pageant judge and criminal attorney. However, he quickly knows he's in over his head when he discovers her goals include getting revenge. [1]
