Robert "Bob" Barnard is a main character on Insatiable. He is played by Christopher Gorham.

Early life[]

Bob was born in Masonville, just like Bob Armstrong. The two were best friends up until their freshmen year of high school, when they went their seperate ways as Barnard became popular and the all american boy, while Armstrong became an overweight outcast. It's soon revealed the reason for their split is because Barnard began gaining feelings for Armstrong, but couldn't act on it due to the times.

9 years after graduating high school, he and Stella Rose began a relationship that began in March 1997, after she and Armstrong had split up and Barnard was experiencing marital issues with Etta Mae. Barnard and Stella dated for over a year and a half until Stella became pregnant. They chose to abort the child and go their separate ways. However, Stella began to have second thoughts and decided to have the baby, Roxy and quickly gave her up for adoption. Meanwhile, Bob and Etta resolved their marital isses as they had Magnolia.
